Geospatial workshops in the cloud for K-12 participants fosters spatial thinking & workforce skills

Inquiry based workshops at the BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute foster spatial thinking and workforce skills. Powered by industry leaders like Harris L3 Geospatial. ESRI and Amazon Web Services [AWS] these workshops have attracted students from New York City region. The workshops will close out on the 27th July and feature geospatial project presentations. A combination of inquiry-based hands on exercises, suite of industry standard geospatial software and the Application Streaming [AppStream] capabilities of the AWS console has enabled the successful implementation of these workshops. The workshops have also demonstrated a near flawless model to deliver technology courses and curriculum.
