The Pathways to Geospatial Technology and Careers program [PGTC 2017-2021] promotes cutting-edge research in geospatial technology in the New York City region. The Summer Workforce Internship Program pairs Mentees with Mentors [from different institutions in NYC and NJ region] who work for 6 to 10 weeks on a dedicated project. They develop superior analytical skills and design applications using time series of satellite data. The BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute [BGCCCI] has been championing national agenda of promoting and increasing number of participants in geospatial and STEM research.
