The Annual Summer Workforce Internship Program came to a close with participants from New York City institutions (schools and colleges) presenting their projects at the BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute. The 16 week program paired group of mentee with mentors who guided them on research projects. The projects were largely focused on promoting Spatial Thinking and emphasizing on the importance of making informed decisions based on various spatial analyses and geostatistical methods. The importance of using geospatial data for STEM projects were highlighted and every participant will submit a technical report and submit Internship applications. Well done Mentors and Mentees.
