The BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute [BGCCCI] has been invested in promoting geospatial education, research and workforce skills in the region. In collaboration with Industry leaders such as HERE, Planet, ESRI, Harris Corporation and many others we have designed curriculum and programs that has directly impacted many students in the CUNY system. We have promoted cutting edge research in geospatial data analytics by dedicated research internship programs and initiated collaborations with universities and agencies in the US. and abroad. Funded by the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education and NASA's EONS programs we have created a unique ecosystem that has created pathways in geospatial technology and careers for many.
