The weekend Geospatial Workshops are attracting participants from all backgrounds, and ethnicities. As participants plunge into feature extraction techniques we ensure that everyone get a fair chance to be trained. The more inclusive and diverse the more successful we will be. The workshops expose young minds to the realms of geospatial technology and its applications. They are assessed by evaluation questions that focus on spatial thinking and benefits of location-based analysis from high resolution multi-resolution satellite imagery. In partnership with the Industry, The BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute (BGCCCI) is imparting education, research and workforce skills and most importantly empowering young minds to be make informed decisions about a possible career prospect in the geospatial industry.
