NSF-ATE & NASA sponsored Professional Development Workshop for Educators
Professional Development Program from educators from the New York City and New Jersey is currently underway at the BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute [BGCCCI]. The workshop lead by Dr. John Lauermann will train educators in geospatial technology and enable them to infuse the learnings into practice at their respective institutions. The participants will stay connected after the workshops with BGCCCI to seek further help in their endeavor to promote geospatial technology at their schools and colleges. By training the educators we will reach out to a much larger community of students and enable them spatially. We received an overwhelming response to these workshops once again. With every activity, BGCCCI evolves as a major center of excellence in the region as that is relentlessly working in demonstrating the power of spatial science.
